Purpose and service matters
Mike Manhas is the founder and driving force of SoberFest Victoria. Having lived through alcohol and substance abuse for over 12 years, Mike knows firsthand how difficult it can be to enjoy live music events when most festivals revolve around beer tents and substance use. HE CHANGED THAT!
Seeing a gap in the live events, Mike strived to create something different, a world class music festival where anyone who chooses an alcohol and substance-free lifestyle could show up, have fun and recover out loud. This is how SoberFest was born, from that vision came the high energy, family friendly celebration of music, community, and good vibes that we have all been longing for.
Mike's goal is simple, prove that the best nights of your life don't require a drink in your hand. SoberFest is his answer to every person who has ever stood at the edge of a festival crowd and felt like it wasn't built for them.
Today, SoberFest Victoria is proud to be one of Canada's most unique live music events, drawing thousands of attendees and raising millions to help people recover. RECOVER OUTLOUD WITH US AND WATCH THE RIPPLES OF CHANGE.
The Rewired Recovery Foundation is committed to building stronger, healthier communities across British Columbia by supporting individuals, families, and community programs that promote wellness.
We believe that everyone deserves access to a supportive community and meaningful experiences. Events like SoberFest play a real role in making that possible. Proceeds from SoberFest contribute directly to the Foundation's charitable initiatives, helping expand its reach and impact year over year.
